In week two I have acquired my supplies and patterns. I have been very busy this week with volleyball, homework, and my tournament in Florida. Therefore I have not been able to start on any of my projects yet. I am eager to get started on my projects and will do so as soon as I get back home on Tuesday. I plan to start with simple patterns at first and then work my way up towards the harder stuff. I have seen examples of other people's creations and have widened my scope of potential things made. I have watched a few tutorials and am overall surprised at how easy it looks. I do not want to get ahead of myself but I think I will be decent and be able to make simple lines. I plan to get a lot more done next week and I look forward to my first creation. I will probably just make a square. I don't think I'm ready for any stuffed animals yet. The only thing I worry about is if I will be able to make a loop knot. I am not good with knots and how to make them. It looks easy enough though so we will hope for the best. I will keep you posted about any future updates or accomplishments.

For week 1 I have begun researching my materials. I have looked at different yarns and crochet needles. I have also begun to look at patterns to follow to help me think about what I want to make first. I need to start off with something fairly easy and then build off from there. I am pretty nervous and I hope that this project goes as planned. Next week I hope to have an idea of what I want to make first and my materials. I fear I will underestimate how hard it is and then have to switch projects. I pray that does'nt happen seeing as I do not really have a back up plan. I really hope my cow turns out good mainly because it is my final project but also because I have always wanted a fluffy crocheted cow. I plan on sitting it up on my desk so I can see it's cute face every single morning. If I am good at making them, I hope to sell them eventually. That is a big "if". I have been thinking and if I cannot make a cow there needs to be something I can. I was thinking maybe flowers or a different animal such as a bee or whale. I have heard that those are easier and have seen some tutorials where they are for a beginner. Down below I have compiled some pictures of what I want my cow to look like as well as some other potential projects I could do. I hope that everything goes good and I will see you next week! |
AuthorI love fluffy cows and soft things. Crocheting has always been a thing I have wanted to learn. |
